Our clients say it best

What our clients say about us

We contracted with Indochina Research to conduct a factory workers survey and interviews with selected key informants, in order to improve awareness and knowledge of factory workers on Social Security benefits. I am very satisfied with the results that Xavier, Trang and his team at Indochina Research provided. They proved to be reliable, reactive and professional researchers. They provided advice to adjust our research methodology and were flexible to adjust the timeline as per our institutional partners’ request. Their analysis report and recommendations were much useful to produce relevant communication materials and to organize tailored awareness events with factory workers.

It was a great experience working with Indochina Research Vietnam on the 2022 National TUS (Time Use Survey) research project. Thanks a lot, to the whole team for making everything happen smoothly! I thought the quality of the work was very high and especially the project managers should get a bonus 😊! I can’t think of much else that could have been done differently.

We have used Indochina Research Vietnam (IRL) as a core partner in Vietnam on a number of projects over the past several years. Our first project with them was a complex mixed-methods study utilizing a detailed sampling plan involving hard-to-reach respondents. Not only did IRL successfully meet all qual and quant research targets, but the quality of their outputs were exceptional – on par and even exceeding those of larger research firms. Since then, we have partnered with IRL on a number of projects and they have continued to demonstrate incredible expertise, professionalism, and agility while delivering high-quality outputs on schedule. The entire team is a joy to work with and we highly recommend them for any research needs in Vietnam.

With the full-fledged support of Indochina Research, we successfully conducted a cross-sectional study between late 2016 and early 2017 in four cities of Vietnam: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Lao Cai, and Son La City. Our data collection methods included both household survey and records of 24-hour food diaries over the weekdays and one non-consecutive weekend. Our project was challenging but the hardworking and friendly staff at Indochina managed the project very professionally. Indochina Research provided trained and experienced professional enumerators who conducted the household survey through face-to-face interviews. Indochina Research also cross-checked the quality of the data each day and quickly resolved any issues incurred during the survey. My work experience with the staff was fantastic as they were very respectful. I would strongly recommend them to other researchers around the world who would like to conduct surveys in Vietnam.”

“I would say VN has been the most problematic country for our agency as we don’t have any representative there and have to rely heavily on local suppliers. I’ve worked with a previous local supplier in 1 project but I wondered if the quality of deliverables could be better, so I decided to take a risk by changing from the old supplier we had  worked with for so long to IRL (this was the first time we changed to a new agency). Now, it’s proved that we made the right decision to choose Indochina Research. In VN, now we can finish the report much quicker and our global client is satisfied with the results.”

Kleffmann Gmbh,

“In late 2016, Indochina Research carried out an extensive and complex quantitative research project on our behalf across the country. We have had prior experience working within the S. E. Asia region, as well as specific experience working in Cambodia, and can say with the utmost confidence that Indochina Research is the most professional public opinion research agency in the region. Our project was both sensitive and challenging, and Indochina’s professionalism came through in every step of the process.”

Shaviv Strategy and Campaigns,

“Overall I was EXTREMELY pleased with my Indochina Research experience and I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to others. My request was extremely demanding and Indochina Research consistently rose to the challenge and was extremely responsive and delivered excellent work. There could have been some modest improvements in the output generated (I had to reorganize some data to make it usable) but overall it was a job extremely well done, especially given the timeframe. Finally, I think the staff at Indochina Research deserves a lot of credit. Everyone with whom I worked was fantastic – very competent, responsive, and fluent in English. Again, nicely done.”
