This large-scale regional study, led by the Centre for Impact Investing and Practices (CIIP) and supported by PwC Singapore, examined the state of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) adoption among more than 3,500 MSMEs across Southeast Asia. Focusing on four key sectors—consumer goods, food and beverage, electronics, and tourism.
In Vietnam, Indochina Research conducted in-depth interviews with business owners and managers to understand their awareness, challenges, and motivations around ESG practices. Our localized insights helped capture the real-world conditions facing Vietnamese MSMEs and contributed to practical recommendations for advancing sustainable supply chains.
