Centre for Impact Investing and Practices (CIIP) | 2025 | ESG adoption & supply chain sustainability.

This large-scale regional study, led by the Centre for Impact Investing and Practices (CIIP) and supported by PwC Singapore, examined the state of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) adoption among more than 3,500 MSMEs across Southeast Asia. Focusing on four key sectors—consumer goods, food and beverage, electronics, and tourism.
In Vietnam, Indochina Research conducted in-depth interviews with business owners and managers to understand their awareness, challenges, and motivations around ESG practices. Our localized insights helped capture the real-world conditions facing Vietnamese MSMEs and contributed to practical recommendations for advancing sustainable supply chains.
Cava Solutions | 2025 | Healthcare market research and expatriate consumer insights

As Vietnam emerges as a rising destination for medical tourism, Indochina Research conducted a nationwide survey targeting foreign residents, expatriates, and tourists across key cities. The study aimed to understand healthcare behaviors, perceptions, and current usage patterns among international patients, offering valuable insights into how providers are positioned in the eyes of foreign users.
Leveraging our strong fieldwork capabilities and extensive experience with hard-to-reach audiences, we successfully engaged this diverse and mobile target group. From research design to data collection and analysis, we delivered clear, actionable findings to support improvements in service delivery and competitiveness in Vietnam’s private healthcare sector.
Asian Development Bank (ADB) | 2023 | Automotive market research & consumer segmentation

In partnership with ADB, this project aimed to support the expansion of Vietnam’s electric vehicle (EV) market by conducting a comprehensive consumer study to guide manufacturers like VinFast. The research focused on segmenting potential EV buyers and understanding their expectations, perceptions and decision-making factors, as well as evaluating the public image and brand perception of VinFast within the competitive landscape.
Indochina Research designed and executed a full-scale mixed-methodology study that transformed consumer insights into strategic personas, enabling stakeholders to tailor communications, product development, and brand positioning to distinct market segments. The project reflects our strong ability to connect market data with strategic outcomes in the evolving field of sustainable mobility.
The World Bank Group | 2022 | The Vietnam Time Use survey (TUS)

The Vietnam Time Use Survey (TUS) is a nationwide study conducted by the World Bank Group to examine how Vietnamese individuals allocate their time across daily activities, including paid work, household responsibilities and leisure. The research provides valuable insights into work–life balance, unpaid care and gender disparities in economic and labor outcomes.
Indochina Research implemented the survey through in-person interviews with 6,000 citizens across 400 wards and communes, ensuring representation of all age groups, occupations and income levels. This project highlights our proven capacity to deliver large-scale, high-quality socio-economic data and to support evidence-based policymaking on gender and employment issues in Vietnam.
