Social
A strong intercultural experiences working on development programs

Since 1994, Indochina Research has been providing unique strategic consulting as well as research and opinion polling services to a wide range of clients interested in the dynamics of the Indochina Region. These include universities, NGOs, international agencies, and the United Nations.

We nurture exceptional fieldwork teams who can operate in the most remote areas. Our staff have international backgrounds and/or strong intercultural experiences working on social and development programs.

Having experienced, culturally competent, and internationally-minded teams are some of the main reasons why clients trust us to undertake their large-scale, often complex, social research projects. In our offices, we speak 11 languages, including Vietnamese, Khmer, Lao, Burmese, Tagalog, Thai, Japanese, French, Spanish, Italian, and English, which is our shared working language. When we need to interview ethnic minorities, we recruit local interpreters from our validated network.

The main social sectors we have been working on include:

  • Communications effectiveness
  • Corruption
  • Child Nutrition
  • Education
  • Employment
  • Food Security
