We contracted with Indochina Research to conduct a factory workers survey and interviews with selected key informants, in order to improve awareness and knowledge of factory workers on Social Security benefits. I am very satisfied with the results that Xavier, Trang and his team at Indochina Research provided. They proved to be reliable, reactive and professional researchers. They provided advice to adjust our research methodology and were flexible to adjust the timeline as per our institutional partners’ request. “With the full-fledged support of Indochina Research, we successfully conducted a cross-sectional study between late 2016 and early 2017 in four cities of Vietnam: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Lao Cai, and Son La City. Our data collection methods included both household survey and records of 24-hour food diaries over the weekdays and one non-consecutive weekend. Our project was challenging but the hardworking and friendly staff at Indochina managed the project very professionally. Indochina Research provided trained and experienced professional enumerators who conducted the household survey through face-to-face interviews. Indochina Research also cross-checked the quality of the data each day and quickly resolved any issues incurred during the survey.
